How It Works

GSQI offers an Attestation of Conformance to organizations that align with a specific GSQI standard (e.g., GSQI/HE-25001 v1.0). This is not program accreditation or ranking; it is a formal attestation that your systems and practices conform to the referenced GSQI standard and version.

Conformance Pathways (Choose One)

A) GSQI Direct Assessment

GSQI reviews your evidence and may conduct remote or on-site verification.

Outcome: Attestation of Conformance issued by GSQI.

B) GSQI-Recognized Verifier

You engage an independent verifier from GSQI’s roster. They assess and submit a dossier to GSQI.

Outcome: Attestation of Conformance issued by GSQI.

Both pathways use the same criteria, indicators, and evidence checklists.

Steps to Attestation

01. Application

  • Select the standard & version and define scope (entities/units/locations/modalities).
  • Nominate a conformance lead.

02. Evidence Upload

  • Policies & governance artifacts
  • Process documents & implementation records
  • Outcomes/monitoring data
  • Public transparency materials
  • Clause-by-clause version mapping to the GSQI standard

03. Assessment

  • Document review, interviews, sampling
  • Nonconformities (NCs): Major / Minor / Observation
  • Corrective Action Plan (CAP) window (typ. 30–90 days for Majors)

04. Decision

  • Attest: no majors outstanding
  • Conditional Attest: minors open; CAP monitored
  • Defer: majors not closed
  • Decline: material gaps

05. Issuance & Listing

  • Attestation of Conformance (PDF with QR verification)
  • Optional Public Registration (organization, scope, standard/version, term)
  • GSQI Mark-Use Guidelines provided

06. Surveillance & Renewal

  • Annual surveillance attestation (brief evidence update)
  • Spot checks as needed
  • Re-attestation at 24 months or upon a new major version of the standard
